1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of MeetLocals.nl and its apps (the “Service”), operated by Davanci Group B.V., Beethovenstraat 72-3, 1077 JM Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 65307941 (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who can use MeetLocals

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may have only one account, and it must be in your own name and show your own photos.
• You may not use the Service if you have previously been removed from it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@meetlocals.nl if you think someone else has access to it.

4. Rules of conduct

You agree not to:

• post false, misleading, offensive, discriminatory, explicit or illegal content;
• harass, threaten, stalk or intimidate other members;
• offer, request or advertise money, gifts or other compensation in exchange for company, dating or sexual services, or use the Service for any commercial purpose, escorting or prostitution;
• ask other members for money or financial details;
• impersonate anyone or create fake profiles;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated means, or try to break the security of the Service.

5. Your content

You remain the owner of the photos and texts you post. You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to show them on the Service for as long as they are on your profile. You confirm that you have the right to post them. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

6. Meeting other members

We do not run background checks on members and cannot guarantee anyone's identity or intentions. You are responsible for your own interactions with other members. Please read our safety tips.

7. Paid memberships

Basic use of the Service is free. Premium features are available through a paid subscription; prices and features are shown on the upgrade page before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the end of the current period. After cancellation your premium features remain active until the end of the period you have paid for. If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal; by asking us to start the subscription immediately you agree that you lose this right once the service has been fully provided, and otherwise we refund the unused part.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in your profile settings. We may suspend or delete your account if you break these terms or the law, or if we have reasonable grounds to believe you are a risk to other members.

9. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the behaviour of members, on or off the Service, or for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you on the site or by email. If you keep using the Service after the change, the new terms apply.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, without affecting any mandatory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
